MY STORY

I have transitioned and been transformed over the last 3 decades in my leadership career and life.

I moved from NW Pennsylvania to begin my business journey as an Accountant in the Washington DC metro area. This filled my analytical head with good challenges. But there was something missing. I quickly realized I needed people, interactions and to make a bigger impact.

I found a way to use my analytical data-driven mind to serve clients in Human Resources. I felt there was more I could do and so quickly enrolled in a Masters Program to build my knowledge-base and to advance my career into leadership roles. I completed my SPHR (Senior Professional in HR) and CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) certifications while in Human Resources.

When I created time in my life for a relationship that blossomed into marriage, I realized the hours I was dedicating at the workplace had to change. It was then that I switched financial services organizations so I could re-establish boundaries and there was room in my life to begin our family.

And then my life turned upside down. I hit a deep valley when I lost my oldest sister to cancer. I was stopped in my tracks and knew something had to change.

I left my Global HR leadership role and spent some time as an independent HR Consultant before deciding it was time to go internal to focus on myself.

Around the time the pandemic hit, like many, it was a time for reflection and another wakeup call. I realized there were more ways to lead others and felt I was playing “small”. I took another Leap of Faith, completed three professional coaching certification programs through iPEC (Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching) and moved my focus to serving others to work through leadership challenges

I am an accredited PCC coach through the ICF (International Coaching Federation) which is the gold standard in coaching. I have worked with executive and leadership clients in many Fortune 500 organizations. Some recent clients have worked at Wal-Mart, Pfizer, The National Park Services, Hershey, Uber, PayPal, Welltower, Staples, Ernst & Young, Vituity, Booz Allen Hamilton, CGI and Lockheed Martin.

Coaches bring out your answers by being inquisitive and asking you powerful questions which uncover what’s holding you back, perhaps keeping you from playing small and ignoring what you really want. On the flip side, Consultants tell you what to do and give you the answers while Mentors have gone the road before you and offer insights.

I’ve worn so many hats in my lifetime. I have listened to hundreds of clients and asked them the tough questions which helped them to get outside of their comfort zone where their growth truly happens.

I am a mom to 3 daughters, a black lab rescue dog and have been married to my husband for over 20 years. We moved cross country 5 times in the past 7 years from Alexandria Virginia to Camas Washington (Portland, Oregon metro) to O’Fallon Illinois (St Louis metro east) and most recently to Yardley Pennsylvania (Philadelphia/NYC metro). as a military spouse all while creating my coaching business.

We love to visit the National Parks, travel extensively around the US and explore in our RV. We have now visited all 50 states with our daughters. All of the images on my website are from my travels and especially the breathtaking beauty of the PNW. I love to get out in nature to hike and love being near water. I also enjoy cooking and being crafty with our girls. The thrill of rollercoasters never gets old and now enjoy riding them with our girls.

I provide space for clients to be who they are to create their next best step. You’re no longer walking alone as you continue your journey to become what you most want to be in your one amazing life.

I’m curious about your journey and look forward to connecting to you.

WHY LEAP OF FAITH?

It all begins with an idea.

Why an executive leadership coach?

People ask me all the time: “Why Leap of Faith?”

“Is it faith-based coaching?”
“How did you land on that name?”

Fair questions. And the short answer is — Leap of Faith isn’t just a brand. It’s my story.

When my sister passed away from cancer, everything I thought I knew about my life and career flipped upside down. I had spent decades in global HR leadership roles in high-pressure environments — private equity, corporate transformations, M&A, the whole rollercoaster. It was meaningful work… and yet, when grief showed up, the job suddenly didn’t make sense anymore.

So I did something bold. Something terrifying. Something 100% led by my adventurous heart:

I took a Leap of Faith.
I trusted myself. I trusted the process. I trusted there was something bigger and more aligned ahead — even if I couldn’t see the landing.

Leadership coach help

So for me that’s what a leap of faith means.

It’s not about reckless action.
It’s about intentional courage.

A leap of faith is a moment — the moment — when you finally say:

“I’m done settling.
I’m choosing something better.
I’m trusting myself to land.”

That shift changes everything — careers, relationships, confidence, boundaries, joy.

And that’s exactly what I help my clients do.

Who I Coach — And Why They Show Up

Most of the leaders I work with have never worked with a coach before. They’re smart, accomplished, respected — and still, something inside whispers:

This isn’t it. You’re meant for more.
It’s time to leap.

So they reach out. They take a risk on themselves. And they tell me later, “I just had a gut feeling you were the one.”

Why me?

Maybe it’s the HR background — knowing the corporate game from the inside.
Maybe it’s the private equity edge, the M&A experience, the boardroom battle scars.
Maybe it’s that I’m a mom and a military spouse — I understand resilience on and off the org chart.
Maybe it’s because I’m a woman, and sometimes that creates a safer space for vulnerability — even (especially) for men.

Or maybe it’s simply this:

➡️ I see people as humans first, leaders second.
➡️ I believe transformation doesn’t require perfection — just a willingness to leap.
➡️ I help leaders thrive in a way that aligns with their values and their lives.

Want to Take the Next Step With Me?

This is just the beginning. I’ll be sharing tools, stories, and insights to help leaders:

✔️ step into greater presence and influence
✔️ build thriving, high-performing teams
✔️ lead sustainably without burnout
✔️ create lives and careers that feel genuinely worth leading

If you’re curious — or feeling that same gut-level nudge that I did — I’d love for you to follow along.

Your leap is calling.
When you’re ready, I’m here.

— Lynell
